Letterpress....

.....is whats been happenin' fools!!! I'm a letterpress virgin no more. Basically what we did was stamp ink onto paper using raised movable typefaces and etched images. Nothing I've ever done before. Most of the whole process is done manually, and for some reason it kept on reminding me of old American cowboy films. Excuse me while I upload the photos and rotate them clockwise.. I haven't taken that much as my camera phone's shit, I apologize and with the images I have right now I will try and make your viewing experience exciting. niiiice!

Givenchy Fall 2009

I find this collection very dramatic, veiled and draped silhouettes with detailed colourful embroidery...the influence is clearly Middle Eastern. It's a shame the outfits are modeled by androgynous sticks with ears.
